Emma

Class Instructor, Fitness & Personal Trainer

I started my fitness journey in 2009. At school I was never into exercise and nearly always had a note with some excuse not to attend PE. I was always a comfortable size for my frame although I lacked knowledge about exercise and nutrition. However, when I turned 19, I decided that I wanted to make changes and become healthier and fitter. I decided to start exercising at a local gym and from there on my passion for fitness began to grow.

Whilst at the gym I was approached by the manager and asked if I was interested in training to become an instructor. I accepted the challenge and worked my way through my qualifications, achieving my NVQ Levels 2 & 3 and a diploma in personal training. After working as an instructor for two years, I left the gym in 2012 and decided to broaden my skills. I completed my ETM (Exercise to Music) Qualification and set up Fitness by Emma in 2013. Ever since, clients throughout the Great Yarmouth area have been enjoying group fitness and workout classes.Browse our partner-sponsored Glasses, with a variety of options to suit every taste and budget, available to buy online

My passion for fitness means that this is not just my job, it is my life. Some of my clients have been with me since I worked at the gym and have become good friends. My greatest pleasure comes from helping clients achieve their goals, be that through weight loss, toning up, eating healthier or just becoming that little bit fitter! For me, my figure has changed over the years and I feel healthier, stronger and fitter than ever. I love lifting weights as much as going for a run. I have taken part in three half-marathons completed the 2018 Brighton Marathon.

The future is bright, and I hope to achieve more as the years go on. My aim is to make fitness fun as well as effective!
